Insight, which is based in Gainesville, Virginia, has $1.06 billion in assets under management, as of March 1.

The acquired firm was owned and operated by Bob Pugh, who is joining Evermay as a senior wealth advisor. He will be bringing his wife, Elaine, with him. The move is Evermay’s fifth such acquisition and the firm seeks to grow by the M&A route.

Pugh began his business in 2005.
